Bali Honeymoon Itinerary: Exploring Bali (12 Days)
Day 1
Welcome to Bali, the Island of Paradise! Upon arrival in Denpasar
and after clearing Immigration & Customs, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free to relax
at your beautiful resort.
Overnight - Sanur, Bali
Day 2
Free day to relax and enjoy the beach and the amenities of your
resort. Today we have arranged a one-hour Jet Lag massage for you!
Tonight you will have a private candlelight dinner served in your
room.

Day 3
After breakfast at your hotel this morning, start the day with a
drive through the mountains to Mt. Agung; at over 10,000 ft., it
is the highest mountain in Bali and a still sometimes active volcano.
The last eruption was in 1963 and devastated many of the nearby
villages. Surviving the blast was the Besakih Temple, Bali's largest
and holiest temple sight. You'll take some time to explore the area
with your guide.
After lunch, you'll drive to Ubud, then check into your charming
Balinese style accommodation. This evening enjoy dinner at Cafe
Wayan and then a performance of the Kecak Dance, where a chorus
of 100 men chant while dancers enact scenes from the Hindu epic
Ramayana.

Day 4
After breakfast you¹ll be picked up from the hotel for a morning
of rafting on the Ayung River (Class II-III) passing through 11
km of deep mountain gorges, wild jungles, picturesque rice paddies
and under thundering waterfalls. For the most part it is a relaxing
journey through beautiful country but there are a few thrilling
whitewater sections.
After rafting enjoy a riverside lunch before returning to the hotel
with the
afternoon free to explore on your own. Nearby the hotel is the Sacred
Monkey Forest. Also be sure to take some time to wander central
Ubud where there is excellent shopping and good restaurants and
cafes.

Day 5
Early this morning at approximately 03:00, you will be picked up
from the hotel by your guide and begin your ascent of Mt. Batur.
You want to make it to the top by sunrise, where you¹ll have
a stunning view of Bali and across to neighboring Lombok. The climb
for the most part is a scramble up sharp volcanic rock. Be sure
to have sturdy footwear, long pants (lightweight), gloves to protect
your hands, and a light jacket as it can be quite cold at the summit.
Around midmorning you'll return to your hotel. On the way down,
there are some fabulous hot springs so don¹t forget your swimming
suit - the soak feels great after this relatively difficult climb!
This afternoon, you will be transferred back down to Ubud with the rest of the day free to relax and explore on your own.

Day 6
Morning free to relax.
After lunch, you will embark on an unforgettable journey that will
allow you a very unique cultural experience. The two hour drive
is beautiful, past rice terraces and active volcanos. Once you arrive
at the village of Bulian you'll watch the young girls of the village
learn the traditional Balinese dances. Afterwards, you'll be the
honored guests in a local home. The family will have a feast prepared
and special guests attending! After the evenings activities you'll
transfer to your nearby hotel in Lovina.

Day 7
After a relaxing morning, head to the remote northwest corner, where
there are few tourists and plenty of rewards in scenery, diving,
jungle, massages, and your beautiful accommodations, where each
villa is equipped with its own moat and outdoor courtyard / wash
room!

Day 8
This morning you will take a short boat trip to Pulau Menjangan
(Menjangan Island). This protected marine park offers Bali's best
snorkeling and scuba diving! Your snorkeling trip is included (additional
amount should you want to dive) and it will be a great way to appreciate
the diverse marine life and colorful corals. Afterwards, you may
rent mountain bikes and explore more of the beautiful area.
Overnight - Pemuteran, Bali
Day 9
This morning you'll explore Bali Barat National Park which covers
a range of geography from dry, ragged volcanic mountains in the
northern and eastern areas to soft tropical rainforests in the south.
The wildlife here includes the rare wild buffalo and the nearly
extinct Bali Starling as well as civet, leopard, monkeys, and several
kinds of deer.
In the afternoon, you'll make the 4 hour drive back to southern
Bali and spend your last night on famous Kuta Beach. Check into
your beautiful villa style resort and take the evening to relax
and enjoy an incredible seafood dinner at Jimbaran Bay. You'll be
serenaded by Bali's most talented cover band, while enjoying your
freshly caught and prepared catch on the beach!

Day 10
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today is free to relax at your accommodations
or on the beach. Surf lessons can be arranged, or you can rent a
board on Kuta Beach.
