Q
Why set up a bridal registry for honeymoon travel?
A
Many couples have come to us over the years requesting that we accept and hold money given by their family and friends as gifts to be applied toward their honeymoon travel. Their reasons vary . . . they have been living together, it is a second marriage and they have already acquired the “things” they need, they inherited the family china and silver, or they simply need the financial assistance in order to have the honeymoon of their dreams. Also, a registry with TravelBride can be in addition to the traditional gift registry to give your guests an option.

Q
How do we advise our family and friends that we are registered with TravelBride?
A
TravelBride will provide you with an initial supply of cards to give to your guests advising them of your honeymoon registry and instructions for gift giving.

Q
If we choose not to set up a honeymoon registry, may we still book a fabulous honeymoon with TravelBride?
A
Of course!

Q
Why should we use TravelBride to plan our honeymoon?
A

Q
Do you represent only certain tour operators and their products?
A
No. TravelBride will work with any tour operator deemed reputable and appropriate for your chosen destination. We can also make reservations on any airline or cruise line and reserve accommodations almost anywhere in the world

Q

Do we need to meet with you personally to make arrangements for our honeymoon?

A
It is not necessary; however, we will happily schedule an appointment to meet with you in our Marin County office. Of course, we are always available by phone, fax, email or regular mail!

Q
Can we arrange weddings and vow renewals through TravelBride?
A
TravelBride will gladly assist you with these arrangements when possible.

Q
What are the costs to use the services of TravelBride?
A
There is a $150 non-refundable fee to set up a honeymoon registry which will be paid by the wedding couple. The wedding guests will not incur service fees when gift giving. Travel Planning service fees will be determined by the scope of the trip and discussed on an individual basis.

Q
What are the accepted forms of payment?
A
The initial $150 fee to set up a honeymoon registry must be paid by check or money order. Any major credit card will be accepted for payments toward travel arrangements.

Q
What is your refund policy should we need to change or cancel our reservations?
A
The $150 fee collected by TravelBride to create your honeymoon registry is non-refundable. Once under deposit, your reservations for travel are subject to revision and cancellation fees. Optional travel insurance is available for purchase and is strongly recommended.

Q
What if our registry does not collect the funds necessary to cover the total cost of our honeymoon?
A
The registered couple will be responsible for payment of any balance due.

Q
What if TravelBride should receive contributions in excess of the actual cost of the honeymoon?
A
Any extra cash accumulated in the honeymoon account will be given to the registered couple to spend at their discretion.

Q
What identification is required for travel?
A
All domestic travel requires photo identification. International travel requires a passport or a birth certificate, perhaps even a visa . . . you will be advised.
