In engaging the services of TravelBride for your honeymoon
registry and travel arrangements, you agree to the following:
An initial non-refundable fee of $150 will be required
to set up a registry.
Fees for travel arrangements will vary depending on
the scope of the trip. There will be no charge for the first one
hour of consultation and research involved. In most cases, when
a couple has a budget and destination in mind, one hour is sufficient
amount of time to plan the vacation. For more involved itineraries,
a $50 per hour fee will be charged for research and consultation.
In engaging the services of TravelBride, you understand
that TravelBride is not responsible or liable for any arrangements
made by tour operators, cruise lines, wholesalers or any problems
incurred with hotels, resorts, car rentals, rail tickets or any
other arrangements that are not directly the fault of TravelBride.
All deposits and final payments due on any of your
travel arrangements will be paid from the funds in your TravelBride
registry account. If the funds are not available in your account,
you will be responsible for making the payments on or before applicable
due dates. If and when the funds become available, you will be reimbursed
from your account. Please understand that many suppliers require
final payments as much as 60 days in advance of travel.
If you do not receive sufficient funds in your TravelBride
registry account to cover the cost of your complete vacation, you
will be responsible for the additional payments according to applicable
due dates.
Should you decide to cancel your honeymoon travel
arrangements, all funds in your registry account will be refunded
to you, less a $150 TravelBride cancellation fee and any nonrefundable
deposits and cancellation fees imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise
lines, tour operators, etc. It will be the registered couple's responsibility
to refund their contributors per the contribution list provided
by TravelBride.
Carol Peterson is the owner of TravelBride and is associated as an independent contractor with Dimensions in Travel, Inc., a registered California Seller of Travel, #1001493-10. California law requires certain sellers of travel
to have a trust account or bond. This business has a trust account.
Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval
by the State if California.
TravelBride is a participant in the Travel Consumer
Restitution Corporation (TCRC). Passengers may request reimbursement
from TCRC if owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or
travel services which were not refunded by TravelBride in a timely
manner. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRC to any
one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger
to TravelBride, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted
to the TCRC within six months after the scheduled completion date
of travel. A claim must include sufficient information and documentation
to prove the claim and a $35 processing fee. Passengers must agree
to waive their rights to other civil remedies against a registered
participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale
for which they file claim with the TCRC, if located in California
at the time of the sale. A claim form may be requested by writing
